2020 has been a challenging year. Nearly overnight, the way the automotive industry worked went into a radical state of flux. Dealerships of all brands and sizes were suddenly thrust into one of the most rapid digital transformations they'd ever seen, and spearheading the front lines of that adaptation was Modal.
Modal is truly at the heart of automotive e-commerce. We are and remain the premiere solution for navigating the constant change and uncertainty that 2020 has shown automotive. As a way to say thank you, we wanted to take a moment to focus on the positives we've all found this year and share a few of our favorite milestones and achievements!

A Year in Review
Since March 2020, Modal has generated nearly $11B in revenue from online car orders, helping dealers across the U.S. continue to conduct business and overcome the challenges of COVID-19.
We also raised $15M in Series A funding, which enabled us to rapidly scale our team to develop new e-commerce technologies and further streamline the online transaction and ownership experience, including finance, insurance, contract, and service.
In addition to that, we deployed over 1K in product enhancements, and produced and broadcasted over 15 webinars to support and educate our clients.
Modal has been helping dealers drive incredible results. Sunnyside Acura was earning 79% more front-end gross and increased online orders by 11X.

Looking to the Future
Internally, we are prepared to build and deploy even more solutions than ever before in 2021 all while accommodating the changing needs of automotive e-commerce across the world.
